A Relic of St. Oliver Plunkett will visit the Chapel of the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre on Tuesday 10 June 2014 through the kind auspices of the Knights of Columbanus.
The relic will arrive at the Centre at 10:00a.m. and will be available for veneration until 9:00p.m. that evening.
There will be a lunchtime Mass in the Chapel at 1:00p.m. and another Mass at 7:00p.m. when the homily will be given by Mgr. John Hanly, PP Carnaross, who was the Vice-Postulator of the saint’s case for canonisation in 1975.
A Novena of Masses is being offered over the nine days in advance of the visit. Petitions may be sent to the St. Oliver Plunkett Novena, Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cullies, Cavan. All petitions received will be placed beside the relic during its visit.
