The Religious Sisters and Brothers of the Diocese of Kilmore was launched in the Pastoral Centre, Cavan on Thursday 29th July.
A special liturgy took place at the launch to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution of religious sisters and brothers from Kilmore to the church worldwide and over the generations.
The book gives details of the lives of religious sisters and brothers from every parish in the diocese over a two hundred year peiod. In all, 1,165 religious sisteres and brothers from Kilmore are listed in it. The book costs €25.
The book will be on sale in the Crannóg Bookshop, Cavan and from the Cavan Genealogy Centre, First Floor, Johnston Central Library, Farnham Street, Cavan.
